Thor Lightning Detection Weather Policy

Vestavia Country Club has installed a new Lighting Detection System
When the Thor Lightning Detection Siren goes off

• The Tennis Staff will go to all courts and notify everyone (casual play, lesson takers and teams playing in league matches) to immediately stop playing exit the courts and go to a covered safe area. All play will be immediately suspended.
• Safe areas include: The Tennis Shop, Gazebo, Restroom or a personal vehicle.
• When the all clear siren sounds play will begin back from exactly in the match, lessons or casual play where it was stopped.
• Safety is our first concern during inclement weather and will be enforced.
