The meeting was called to order by Kim Rogers at 9:40. All officers were present. Susan Filippini called role and received a motion to approve the minutes of the Fall, 2005 meeting. The motion carried and the minutes were approved as posted on the website.

Janet Harwell gave the Treasurer’s Report and announced the Fall, 2005 winners and prizes (1st place – umbrella, 2nd place – visor). The league should have a balance of approximately $12K after the award invoices are paid. The directories will cost about $7-8K.

Anise Friedman discussed this season’s schedules. 2.5 and 3.5 levels have small changes to be made, but the final schedules will be available tomorrow morning.

Susie Barnes gave a website and directory update. She is looking for a program that will help with the match scheduling. The directories are delayed to allow the MBST players to decide where they will play and have the directories reflect the club memberships correctly.

In new business there was a discussion of the decrease in the number of teams this season. The strength rosters were discussed. All players must be on either the singles or doubles rosters. There was a lengthy discussion on players who are rostered on doubles but not on singles. This allows the player to be “floated” anywhere on the singles line up. There was discussion of changing that but no motions were made.

Club reps received the information to distribute at their respective clubs. The meeting was adjourned.
